Mossimo Launches Spring/Summer 2017 Collection

It’s officially (Spring)-Summer and just like the other seasons, this calls for a huge wardrobe update. What’s in and what’s not? I’ve checked out Vogue’s latest list and I’ve found out that the classics – florals, neon-colored pieces and bold prints – are back!

Well that sounds great for me because I’m a natural sucker for anything girl-y and floral-y. In fact, one of my favourite brands caught me the moment they released their SS collection. Have you heard about Mossimo’s Music Festival – Island Life collection?

Talk about crowd energy, harmonious music and people totally partying up for one great music. Yes that’s the music festival vibe. I, personally, am a huge fan of music festivals not just because of the kind of music they play but mainly because it is a giant fashion hub for everyone. Now, translating the whole festival nature into one collection is just PLAIN AWESOME. Imagine how happy I was when I found out the Mossimo’s new Spring/Summer collection is all about COACHELLA and LA ISLA!

Mossimo’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection revolves around relaxed, laidback pieces that are perfect for that almost-bohemian, Coachella-inspired look & lifestyle.

With a dynamic range of pieces and an interesting texture play on weaves and cotton knits, the brand makes it incredibly easy to cop the looks of the always-stylish who populate the crowded festival grounds. From sexy off-shoulder tops, comfortable yet trendy maxi-dresses, funky space dyed polo tops, and your favorite closet staple of denims, the collection, while never compromising quality and wearability, personifies the burst of colors that can only be found in festive music extravaganzas.

La Isla is the second half of Mossimo’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection and it is all about the island life. Talk about nature, waves and palm trees, La Isla is a mix of laid-back, easy-breezy, and highly-Caribbean scene and vibes. This new collection also focuses on tropical elements, the abundance of flora & fauna, and the romance found in dusky sunsets by the shore.

With a unique and striking color palette of sand and peach tones, combined with the light & deep blue hues of the sea, key pieces feature dip-dyed cotton shirts, one-shoulder ruffled tops, on-trend stripe and floral prints, and lightweight destructed denim items that will remind one of the enviously chill life beside the oceans.

Now I did a little shoot of some of the pieces I’ve personally chosen, just to let you know that this new collection is not just trendy but definitely wearable!

Now this last photo is a ‘lil bit of a rocker chic with an Afro vibe. Totally loving that dark polo which you can convert into some form of cover-up.
