Manila Got Lucky: Penshoppe Presents ‘Rule The City’ Collection

I got Lucky, literally.

Last July 29, Penshoppe officially launched their much anticipated Pre-Holiday Collection 2016 at Conrad Hotel Manila, with social media’s favorite male model, Lucky Blue Smith, gracing the event.

Lucky Blue Smith was first presented as a Penshoppe ambassador back in February when he became the face of the brand’s Spring/Summer campaign. The 18-year old, who hails from Los Angeles, got scouted to become a model at the young age of 10. It’s no wonder Penshoppe chose him as the perfect face for their brand because this six-foot-two-inch model—with his piercing blue eyes and platinum hair—skyrocketed to international fame, especially online, with people dubbing him as the male equivalent of Cara Delevingne (I couldn’t agree more).

Lucky is now part Penshoppe’s pre-holiday campaign, Rule the City, alongside the brand’s other ambassadors such as supermodels Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Sean O’Pry with Asian superstars Sandara Park and Mario Maurer.

The event kicked off with a classy fashion show (NYFW feels!) partnered with good music and beats by DJ Sanya Smith.

I must say that the latest Penshoppe collection is one of their best lines so far. It’s a mixture of plaids, edgy sweaters, stylish jumpsuits, buttoned skirts and more! Watching the models walk on the runway was a total bliss! I also love how they’re styled with layers of clothes perfectly mixed and matched (and most of them are perfect for the rainy season). I thought every piece is wearable whether you’re out with friends or off to school – cool kiddo!

I can’t wait to visit the nearest Penshoppe store and hoard for some new clothes. Fresh #PenshoppeOOTDs coming up!
