It’s the season of gift-giving again and with all the stuff available in the market today, buying gifts sounds like a tedious work. Shopping centers can be hectic places with all the issues of long lines, parking spaces, traffic and so on. Department stores may have all sorts of generic items – bags, clothes, shoes, pouches, makeups and other products readily available for purchase but of course, what better way to show a loved one how truly special he or she is than with a customised gift?
I, personally, am a huge fan of anything that is customized – from tees to hoodies, to caps and even those quirky note pads and tote bags with catchy statements and crazy prints! Nothing beats a cutesy cap with a dapper style or a makeup pouch with a personalized design. I just love the idea of making something your own or giving out goodies with that sweet identical touch.
Now, I want to introduce to you this simple gift-ideas solution, my newfound customization expert brand – Custom Thread.
Custom Thread is a fashion-tech startup that takes customizing apparel to a whole new level. From T-shirts, jackets, sportswear, corporate uniforms, to casual outfits, they offer all kinds personalized designs and styles whether you’re ordering just a piece or even a million pieces.
A few weeks ago, I got the chance to witness the launch of their beta site – customthread.com. It is an all-inclusive platform with a build-your-own-design app, cost estimate “calculator,” and seamless services for handling payment to delivery. Through this site, the whole process of selecting materials, creating prints and the entire ordering of customised products becomes such a breeze.
Custom Thread is known for their good and experienced team. The individuals who handle all orders aren’t just workers in an assembly line, but expertly trained artisans. They are all happy people too and their dogs, (YES, they have dogs in their office!) are real charmers!
Saya ko lang with the dog!
Custom Thread also uses globally trusted equipment from the UK, France, Japan and Israel. Their one of the few owners of machines like Qornit Avalanche, Adelco Dryer, and Sefa Large Heat Press. Mind you, these machines are really fast and they can make instant prints in a few minutes!
They also have the traditional kind of printing which is the silk screen and they also do digital embroidery and other forms of customization.
Want to have your own fashion brand? Let Custom Thread do the work! Start your own online store and fundraising campaign and sell your designs through Custom Thread’s E-commerce system called Fundr. Sounds like a great deal right?
Congratulations Erik Sy (Custom Thread CEO) and the entire Custom Thread team for a successful launch. I can’t wait to create my own gift-designs for the coming season!

25th Oct 2016 - 8:19 amI’ve always been a fan of statement shirts and sometimes I’ve been thinking about having a custom shirt made. With those witty lines and all, or any piece of item related to PH pop culture. I suppose that’s a nice idea for a gift, too. 🙂
