So I’ve been spending a lot of time checking out appliances and home stuff lately, mainly because I’m starting to become a certified home bud now (talk about titaness!) plus I’m preparing myself to a world of solo-independent-kaya ko ‘to kind of living. Yes, I am living alone soon haha and the thought excites and scares me at the same time because #ADULTING is legit AF.
Anyway, I figured I should start early with the preparations by scouting for some good appliances and furniture that are best fit for the house I’ve recently acquired. At first, it was easy and fun. But as I get exposed to more home brands and more types of appliance, the more I get confused.
Recently, I got invited to the launch of Tefal’s newest campaign called “Live Healthy, Stay Happy”. I found it very timely because I still have not decided which items I should get for the kitchen and for the rooms and receiving that Tefal invite was like a mini Eureka moment for me.
For those who do not know, Tefal is a world leader in small domestic appliances. They are known for their close connection to the familial ties — with products that are best for the kitchen, dining, living room and other areas of the house.
The special launch called “Experience Tefal” was held at Abenson , Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. TEFAL, along with its brand ambassador for domestic appliances and TV’s Chef Next Door Chef Jonas Ng who also kicked off the “Live Healthy, Stay Happy” campaign by introducing its newest cookbook for happy and healthy eating – “TEFAL: Bringing Joy in Cooking.”
“Even for pros, cooking at home can be a chore since we usually face the same limitations in our home kitchens such as lack of space, time and budget. I wanted to put together simple and quick recipes that are made for busy mothers and professionals who would rather spend their time enjoying, than preparing food. With the unique leverage that TEFAL appliances offer, you’re assured that you’ll be able to whip up amazing meals in half the time. Thus, TEFAL gives its users more time to spend with the family and other important things,” shares Chef Jonas.
There were live demos and discussions during the event and I learned a lot from them. From the simple ironing of clothes to cooking, Tefal is indeed the best bud for anyone who is just starting to live solo (like me) or those who already have a family.
I’ve actually finished my Tefal “To Buy” list haha and here are some of my top picks.
1. For the healthy-conscious me (naks!), TEFAL’s Infiny Press Slow Juicer is perfect because it offers 35% more juice, 30% more Vitamin C and 75% more antioxidants than using traditional juice extractors to provide naturally genuine vitamin-packed and nutrient-filled juices.
2. Tefal Garment Steamer – Now this is something I really need for work. Steamer is a part of a stylist’s tool especially during big shoots and TEFAL innovations like its Durilium Soleplate Technology makes ironing less of a chore due to its smooth glide, so clothes can be ironed in half the time compared to other irons without it.
3. And for the always gutom me — TEFAL Microcomputer Rice Cooker. TEFAL’s innovative 4-layer ceramic coated pot has a unique diamond-shaped pattern that contributes to even heat diffusion and better cooking, resulting in tasty and fluffy rice. It is very durable, resistant to scratches, and cleans very easily (no need to soak!).
I really love the fact that Tefal places emphasis on leading a healthy and happy lifestyle, not just with cooking, but in our everyday home tasks. I’m also happy that most of my home needs are now covered and the only thing I need are those big stuff for the house (I hope I get to choose before the year ends)! Thanks Tefal!
