70 Years of Skin Love — Thank you Cetaphil!

I grew up using Cetaphil almost everyday (thanks to my super sensitive skin). I remember when I was young and pimply, my mom will always tell me to use Cetaphil instead of experimenting on harsh chemical-based products and so hoola, I’ve become a certified Cetaphil Baby since then.
A few weeks ago, I got an invite to Cetaphil’s 70th anniversary celebration and of course, I immediately said yes!
Cetaphil has been tagged as the #1 most prescribed skincare brand by dermatologists and pediatricians, a skincare brand that is so much gentler than water because yes, it is that good that people of all ages and skin types can actually use it.
Invented in 1947 by a pioneering pharmacist in Texas, the first product – “Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion“ – known today as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser – still uses the same formula. Customers soon recognized its gentle cleansing power and from then on, the Cetaphil range of products started to grow. Now, 70 years later, Cetaphil is available in more than 70 countries worldwide and offers a wide range of everyday products from, cleansers, moisturizers, sun protection to baby products and solutions for sensitive skin conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea.
The essence of Cetaphil is in the name: the ‘phil’ at the end means ‘love’, while the ‘Cet’ comes from the fatty alcohol which is used as an emollient – Cetyl alcohol. ‘Cetaphil’, therefore, is the love of softening and soothing skin.
Last May 17, the Cetaphil team together with their VIP guests (celebrities, bloggers, media members) celebrated the brand’s 70th year in the international market. All of us were treated to a sumptuous dinner buffet prepared by none other than the Makati Shangri-La’s Circle Events Cafe. Apart from that we also got our own loots of Cetaphil products and I even won a 1,000 pesos worth of Bizu GC. Yay!
It was indeed an honor to be part of this celebration. Congratulations Cetaphil and thank you for always taking good of our skin!

27th May 2017 - 1:20 amI cannot believe Cetaphil has been around that long! But it sure is a top-notch product for the skin. I love its gentle cleanser and the lotion which I used to use on my little one’s sensitive skin!
I am also digging the new packaging!
