Skin Talk: The Wonders of Oleah Blossoms

I have to be honest that getting a fair, bright and smooth skin has always been one of my (physical) life missions. I’ve tried a lot of skincare products from soaps, bath foams, creams, lotions and even availed those expensive derma and spa services like IV gluta and body scrub (Belo), gluta dextrose (Rejuva) and drip (Finessa). I guess my skin has improved a lot ever since but I have to admit this mission has been ripping off my pocket.
I figured maybe I can get the same real effects by choosing a more affordable product that can still work. And so I started searching for some good skin stuff everywhere. Literal ‘yung everywhere – supermarkets, online and even referrals from friends. I came across Oleah Blossoms, a soap line manufactured by a local company called Soapwerke Inc.
The term Oleah Blossoms came from the root words “Ole!” a spanish term that connotes approval (and also the expression the company wants to get from its users) and “Blossom” which reflects the company’s dream of making its soap line bloom and become appreciated by many.
At first, I thought Oleah is a new product soap line but apparently it has been serving the local market since 2003. What’s amazing is yes, the products are produced locally but the craftsmanship of the soaps is inspired by the classic Italian soap tradition. It’s like getting an exclusive European treat every bath time!
After getting the package (yes, they do shipping), I immediately unwrapped ALL soap boxes – there were three of them – and decided to give each variant a try. To make sure I get the best results, I had to use them one at a time.
Let me walk you through each soap variant, the promise(s) and of course, my verdict.
GLUTA LS Whitening Complex with Shea Butter plus Kojic Acid (135 grams) – 60 pesos
The term “GLUTA” caught me in a flash! I love how it’s packaged, sleek and simple and you get everything (all information like ingredients, effects, manufacturer’s info) in one look.
This soap is a combination of Glutathione, Arbutin and Kojic Acid all mixed in a Lipsome Solution (LS). It also has SHEA butter which is considered as a super skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It also offers UV protection and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production.
The Promise:
- Effectively whitens the skin
- Fades out dark spots and acne marks (meaning you can use this as a facial soap)
- Helps in cell regeneration and renewal
- Protects the skin from pollution because of some active anti-oxidants
- Revitalizes and softens the skin
- Contains Vitamins A, C & E which is needed in keeping our skin balance
Tried this first and immediately, my skin got smoother and silkier in an instant. No joke, it’s like pouring cream on your outer layer and letting it dry up (for a richer feel).
I guess I have to give this product more time to see more visible results especially in the area of skin whitening.
RED TOMATO with Papaya Extract (135 grams) – 52 pesos
And again Papaya Extract is nothing new to me because it’s like a local common touch point for skin lightening! Also, it’s significant to note that this variant is made from organically grown ripe tomato which balances and maintains skin moisture.
The Promise:
- Tightens pores
- Contains anti-oxidants that are best in combating aging
- Promotes skin renewal and good cell turnover
- Makes the skin pimple-free and blemish-free
- Contains Papaya enzymes that help banish dead skin cells
- Makes skin flawless
I honestly would like use it as a facial soap but I think I have to consult my derma first. Anyway, I used it several times (as a body soap) this week and I specifically targeted areas with “dead skins” like the feet, knees and elbows. It felt good and I think pores in these areas got tighter.
COLLAGEN C-plus Age Defying Bar with Olive Oil Plus Loofah (135 grams) – 60 pesos
Loofah, yes loofah! We know that loofah helps in exfoliating dry skin, leaving it smooth and sleek but I wonder how will it work if it’s part of a soap ingredients.
Anyway, the Promise:
- Prevents premature wrinkles and facial lines
- Helps keep your skin nourished and healthy
- Provides skin firmness
- Enhances production of healthy and radiant new skin
- Exfoliates and lifts dead skin away
So this is probably their best anti-aging soap with all the exfoliation and skin nourishment effects. I honestly love how this variant made my skin glow after several uses (around 4 or 5, hihi). This is probably my best choice!
Now that we’ve seen all the variants, I must say that the Oleah Blossoms soap line looks promising. All soaps are good and creamy! I love the fact that they only used the best natural ingredients, with no animal fats and other harsh chemicals that can make the skin dry and flaky. And for the price, YES! It’s such a wise investment!
Of course, I also want to boast that this is a local brand (FDA and BFAD approved) and you all know that I am always a #supportlocal advocate.

There is the gluthatione caps, glutathione injectables, diamond peel, etc. and they are all costly. What about those normal who can’t afford it? I’m happy you made a review about Oleah Blossom. The truth is it’s the first time I heard the product and based on your review I think I want to give it a try especially the Gluta LS Whitening Complex. Thank you for your honest review.
